Xiaolongkan

Xiaolongkan is a subdistrict in the east of Shapingba, only 0.97 square kilometres, and one of the smallest in the city. It has four neighbourhoods and a registered population of 29,433. The ground rises through it: Pingdingshan Park at its eastern edge is the highest point of central Shapingba. Its lanes are described in the administrative record as narrow, winding and hemmed in by housing, schools and offices, which is why they congest at commuting hours. The Chengdu–Chongqing expressway and the railway station of the same name cross its northern part, and metro Line 1 stops here.
