Angang Museum

Angang Museum occupies a reused sintering workshop in Anshan. Retained machinery makes the building itself part of the collection, while the relocated old No. 1 blast furnace brings the history of ironmaking into the museum setting. Product histories explain why rails and seamless tubes mattered; worker accounts reveal the maintenance and small inventions that made production possible. The preserved furnace and its digital interpretation belong to a museum display, not an operating steelworks.

Making Steel, Making Anshan

A sintering machine, a relocated furnace and a worker’s tool fixture tell different parts of Anshan’s industrial history. Together they explain how production depended on judgement as well as scale.
