Tanggangzi Hot Spring
At Tanggangzi in Anshan, hot-water bathing belongs to a built landscape of gardens, villas and treatment facilities. Qinglin Villa, Longquan Villa and the Longgong bathing building mark different uses of the retreat, while the hospital established in 1950 developed a sanatorium tradition on the same site. Water management, architecture and changing users connect the older retreat with its later institutional life.
