Xiantao

Xiantao is a province-administered city on the Jianghan Plain. Its older name Mianyang remains in food and craft traditions, including Mianyang steamed dishes. Lotus root, fish and vegetables bring ingredients from a water-shaped landscape into soups and steamers, opening a local view of Hubei cooking.
