Danjiangkou Dam

Danjiangkou Dam is within Shiyan, Hubei, while the reservoir extends into Henan. Water for the diversion’s middle-route canal is taken at Taocha in Xichuan County, Henan. The dam and the canal intake are different structures. Changes in reservoir levels also changed settlements and land around the shore.
