Yunxian Man

The Yunxian skulls take their name from the former county name of today’s Yunyang District. They were discovered at Xuetangliangzi, a river-terrace site within Shiyan. Fossil reconstruction, dating of deposits and comparison with other human fossils give researchers different ways to investigate the site’s deep past.
