Tianjin West railway station

Tianjin West station (天津西站) is one of the three main stations of the Tianjin rail hub, together with Tianjin station and Binhai West station, and it is named among the city's large modern transport hubs. Its main building is one of the four national key protected cultural relic units of Hongqiao District. The station's historical significance is administrative: when the Jingpu railway and Tianjin West station opened in 1911, the old Tianjin station was renamed the East station and the city acquired its three-station pattern. In June 2025 a city terminal for Beijing Daxing International Airport opened at Tianjin West station on the Jinxing intercity railway, and the central city plan makes the West Station area one of two secondary centres.
