Jinghai District.

Jinghai lies in the south-west of the municipality, bordering Hebei to the south and west, Xiqing to the north and north-east and Binhai to the east. It is one of the five outer districts transferred to Tianjin in 1973, and its speech belongs to the Jilu Mandarin group. The district is the birthplace of Huo Yuanjia, the martial artist whose name travelled further than the place did. Its administrative list includes Duli town, where the aged vinegar that shares the town's name is made, along with Taikou, Ziya, Chenguantun, Zhongwang, Daqiuzhuang and Tuanbo, and it holds the Tianjin Ziya economic and technological development area.
