Wuqing District.

Wuqing lies in the north-west of Tianjin, bordered by Langfang of Hebei to the west and north and by Tongzhou District of Beijing to the north-west. It was known in antiquity as Quanzhou, Yongnu and Yongyang, and its administrative history reaches back to the Western Han; the name Wuqing, taken to mean that military merit had pacified the region, was settled in the first year of Tianbao under the Tang and has been used ever since. The North Canal and the Yongding River run through it, and the district has been on the necessary route of canal transport since ancient times. At the 2020 census it had 1,151,313 residents, the largest population of the five outer districts.
