Tengwang Pavilion

The pavilion stands on the north-west side of Nanchang, on the east bank of the Gan River, and is counted with Yueyang Tower and Yellow Crane Tower among the three great towers south of the Yangtze. It has burned and been rebuilt many times; the one that stands is a 1989 reconstruction in Song-style timber framing. What people come for is the line Wang Bo wrote about it: a place of natural treasure and outstanding people.
