Dajueshan

Dajueshan stands in Zixi county of Fuzhou, on the western slope of the Wuyi Mountains, its main peak reaching 1,396 metres. The rock here is red sandstone rather than granite, and the scenery of gorge, cliff and forest is the Danxia kind that also appears at Longhu and at Guifeng elsewhere in the province. The scenic area was rated a national AAAAA site in 2017, and a monastery stands among the cliffs.
