Majiayao Pottery: A painted pattern and its home terrace
The Majiayao culture takes its name from a terrace west of Majiayao village in Lintao. Painted vessels, including a swirl-patterned bottle found elsewhere in Dingxi, reveal a long and varied ceramic tradition.
