Heihe Wetland

The Heihe feeds wetland ground at Zhangye's seat in Ganzhou District. The district introduction names the Heihe wetland among local landscapes. The city government counts two national urban wetland parks: the north-city park named in 2009 and the Gaotai Heihe park named in 2012.

Wetlands along the Heihe

Zhangye’s Heihe river corridor links urban wetlands in Ganzhou with a national wetland park in Gaotai. Reeds, open water and managed ecological flows shape this green edge of the oasis.
