Suihua’s 2022 municipal intangible-heritage list records “Guandong paper-basket traditional making” as a traditional skill from Lanxi County and names Lanxi County Cultural Center as its safeguarding body. The entry places the basket beside three other county skills: Han San copper-pot hotpot from Hailun, the Hundred-Year Hui Ji sauce craft from Zhaodong, and Suileng woodcarving. It is a small but precise record of how Suihua assigns local practices to places and custodians.
