Qiaogang

Qiaogang, in Beihai’s Yinhai District, developed as a settlement for returned overseas Chinese from Vietnam in 1979. Read its food alongside its maritime livelihoods: a rice roll and a fishing harbour carry related histories, but neither can stand for every family’s experience.
