Baoma: A Jin-Dynasty Shrine on Changbaishan
Five years of excavation at Baoma in Antu County changed its identification from a walled settlement to a Jin-dynasty royal shrine for Changbaishan. Platforms, corridors, drains and roof ornaments show how the mountain’s ritual center was built.
