Yitong Manchu Museum

Yitong Manchu Museum sits in Yitong Manchu Autonomous County, within Siping’s prefecture-level territory. A published account describes a seven-metre lineage cord kept by a local Na-surname family and a separate 1895 Manchu-Chinese genealogy. The cord has attached fabric strips and pig and sheep knucklebones; the genealogy records nine generations on a large, layered sheet. Together these objects document distinct family records in the museum collection.
