Dongshan Island

Dongshan’s fisheries and aquaculture connect its shores with everyday livelihoods. Tongling and the historic Tongshan area bring another layer of settlement, with old streets and Guandi Temple near the sea. The temple’s cut-ceramic decoration offers a close view of local craftsmanship, while continuing worship and restoration link its long history to present communities.
