Dapeng Fortress

Founded in 1394, Dapeng Fortress combines defensive walls with streets and residences associated with military households. Lai Enjue’s mansion, Yiwenlou and the Dai family house give different views of life within the settlement. The fortress also connects to Shenzhen’s nickname, Pengcheng.
