Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture.

Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture brings together distinct county landscapes and histories. This selection follows Dong Grand Song and the shared spaces of Zhaoxing in Liping; embroidery and silverwork in Leishan; the Wuyang River and cliffside buildings of Zhenyuan; the Taijiang Sisters’ Festival; and bark-paper making in Shiqiao, Danzhai. Each story stays with its own place and practice, from a choir’s interwoven lines to a sheet tested for book repair.
