Tianchi, springs, river, forest The Hinggan forestry bureau describes the Arxan Global Geopark as a set of volcanic, hot-spring, granite, lake and river landforms, useful for reading how the geology of northern China changed. The park covers 3,653.21 square kilometres. Its four core areas are Tianchi, the hot springs, Halaha and Haosengou. Tianchi is the page's example of Quaternary volcanic remains. Halaha joins a river and granite to a border crossing. Haosengou is granite peaks and original forest. Hinggan is a league. Its seat is Ulanhot. Arxan is a county-level city inside the league, not another name for the seat.

A green card, reported in 2025 The page, whose path is dated 24 April 2025, says the park joined the Global Geoparks network in 2017 and has now passed a revalidation with a green card. The body says recently, and does not add a second calendar day. A green card is an administrative result about management and public education. It does not change the temperature of the springs or the age of the crater.
