Taitung.

Taitung occupies the southeast of Taiwan, from the East Rift Valley to the Pacific shore and the two offshore islands of Green Island and Orchid Island. It is the least densely settled county on the island, with a large Amis, Puyuma and Bunun population. The railway arrived late, and the county's economy has relied on farming, fishing and, more recently, tourism. Taitung City is the administrative centre, with a small art scene built around its old railway station.
