A landscape joined by water

Puzhehei lies in Qiubei County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism describes 54 connected lakes, 312 isolated karst peaks and 83 caves. The figures convey the area's basic form: water routes and limestone relief are read together, not as separate attractions.

The Ministry’s profile places the wetland among the lakes, villages and fields, noting habitat used by migratory birds. That gives the water a second role beyond boat routes and reflections: it is also part of a seasonal ecological landscape. Around the basin, village edges and cultivated plots meet the lakes, while limestone peaks and caves mark the karst beneath and above the waterline.

Villages belong to the scenery

The ministry’s profile names Xianrendong among the Yi villages within the scenic area, placing an inhabited settlement within the lakes, fields and wetland landscape.
