Gaozong and Wu Zetian share a Qian County tomb built into a mountain, with national policy still against opening the chamber.
Qianling lies in Qian County under Xianyang, the joint mausoleum of Li Zhi and Wu Zetian. Heritage releases say it established the pattern of building imperial tombs against mountains. Qianling National Archaeological Park is open; debate essays from 2007 record national policy against excavation.
