Shouxian

Shouxian preserves the layered city fabric around ancient Shouchun, the final Chu capital.

The walled town of Shouxian sits above the layered history of Shouchun, the late Chu capital whose boundaries archaeologists continue to reconstruct.

The tiled gate tower rises above the stone entrance of Shouxian’s later city wall.
