Shenzhou Peninsula Motorboat Training Base

A 2023 Wanning government report identifies Shenzhou Peninsula as the site of a southern national motorboat training base. More than twenty practitioners attended a national beginner instructor course there; trainees who passed could receive a certificate issued through the General Administration of Sport's water-sports center. The same report says winter motorboat training and leisure sports events are held regularly under a “one bay, one product” strategy. Hainan's 2025 coastal-route page also identifies the peninsula lighthouse as a contemporary visitor landmark. Documented instructor training and maritime sports give the peninsula its contemporary public profile.
