Jingting Mountain

A low mountain north of Xuancheng remembered through the poems of Xie Tiao and Li Bai.

Jingting Mountain does not need great height to hold a place in literary memory. The Xuancheng municipal culture and tourism bureau locates it north of the city and connects its reputation to Xie Tiao’s Southern Qi poem and Li Bai’s later writing. A mountain can become a meeting place across centuries: one poet names its ridges, another arrives with those lines already in the cultural air.
