Binglang Valley Li and Miao Cultural Tourism Zone

A documented March 2020 venue where Li and Miao crafts were shown and musician Huang Zhao'an performed his self-made six-hole nose flute.

Binglang Valley in Baoting is recorded as the site of a 2020 March Third intangible-heritage presentation. The event placed Huang Zhao'an's bamboo-and-wood instruments alongside Li brocade, Miao embroidery and fire-making demonstrations. The national heritage account describes the performance and names the instruments; a separate official registry identifies Huang as a representative bearer of Li bamboo-and-wood music from Baoting. The valley is one documented setting for Huang’s performance and a meeting point for several Li and Miao practices.
